Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

How does ReachRainbow reach LGBTQ+ audiences in Africa?

Through people those audiences already follow. ReachRainbow places campaigns with vetted creators, WhatsApp Status publishers, community admins, LGBTQ+ media and event organisers, then coordinates them as a single campaign. Brands write one brief; the network handles matching, distribution, delivery verification and publisher payment.

Is it safe to advertise to LGBTQ+ audiences where being LGBTQ+ is criminalised?

Safety governs the model. ReachRainbow targets contexts, not individuals: campaigns are placed with publishers whose audiences are already there, never against lists of identified people. No one is profiled, outed or added to a database, and every publisher chooses each campaign before it runs.

Does ReachRainbow sell or share data about LGBTQ+ individuals?

No. ReachRainbow does not build, buy or sell lists of LGBTQ+ people, does not scrape contacts, and does not infer anyone's sexuality or gender identity. Brands receive aggregate delivery and performance reporting for their campaign, never audience identities.

Which African markets can brands reach?

Nigeria is the launch market, with South Africa, Ghana and Kenya next, plus pan-African campaigns that run across all four. ReachRainbow expands market by market with local publishers rather than treating the continent as one audience, because context and culture differ sharply between them.

What does a ReachRainbow campaign cost?

Campaigns start under $500 and scale past $10,000, priced per campaign rather than on a fixed rate card. Cost depends on the markets, channel mix and volume you need. Request campaign access with your budget range and objective, and you get a proposed mix and a price back.

How is campaign delivery verified?

Delivery is confirmed channel by channel before publishers are paid. Each placement is checked against what was booked, and results arrive as one report across the whole mix, so brands see what ran where without chasing screenshots from fifteen publishers separately.

Who can join ReachRainbow as a creator or publisher?

Anyone with a real audience: a WhatsApp Status following, a page, a group, a newsletter, a publication or an event. You do not need to be a large influencer. Publishers see the brand, the creative and the fee before accepting, and can decline anything without affecting future offers.

Let's build a brighter Africa

Same people. Bigger possibilities.

Connect with the people, publishers and communities shaping LGBTQ+ culture across the continent.

We never build or sell lists of LGBTQ+ people. How ReachRainbow handles privacy.
